In 2007 he entered Massachusetts College of Art and Design in Boston as the 3rd year of sculpture student. Andrius says about studies in America: I had to pay my own money I saved trucking all over the country… I attended classes together with Harvard students, and celebrated youth together with all others: girls, instructors, friends and people… Having compared the two good higher schools I decided to go back to Lithuania, and by the way I have understood that I could also live in Lithuania as it became too hard in America as I missed the river Minija and my Granny… In his Participant’s Form Andrius picturesquely described his creative ideas: Ideas are born every second night, however I would not always get out of bed to note them down… The other night I reached for a pen and overturned a small table with a thick wooden chessboard on it. I was so scared that all my ideas vanished, and I dare thinking that this project could save me and get the runaway ideas back.
